How much will Aaron Rodgers earn at the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on his way to Pittsburgh, having agreed a one-year deal with the Pennsylvanian franchise.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has finally agreed to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, on a one-year contract pending a physical examination.
The deal took longer to complete than anticipated: Rodgers had been expected to confirm his future before the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, where the Steelers used the 185th pick to select fellow quarterback Will Howard from Ohio State.
Rodgers is targeting a return to top form after a challenging stint with the New York Jets, where he was hampered by a torn Achilles tendon.
In his second season with the Jets, his team finished with a disappointing 5-12 record, although he completed 63% of his passes and threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

What will Rodgers’ Steelers salary be?
The details of Rodgers’ contract with the Steelers are still unknown. Since April, however, the veteran has stated that continuing his career wasn’t solely about money. During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, he even said he would accept a deal for just $10 million.
“I told every single one of the teams I talked to, you know, it ain’t about the money. I’ll play for 10 ‘Ms’ [millions],” Rodgers declared. “I don’t care. I never once said I needed a multi-year deal, [and reporting that I asked for] $30 million, $40 million is absolute bullshit. I said I’d play for 10. Whatever.”
Gerry Dulac, a well-known insider from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has reported that the 41-year-old’s contract is worth “less than $20 million”.
Meanwhile, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport believes Rodgers’ contract will have a base salary of $10 million, plus performance-based incentives. It’s worth noting that the Steelers have $31.8 million in salary cap space.
Money was NEVER the issue in deal with Aaron Rodgers. It was always a one-year offer for less than $20 million.
